behind the coaching.
Michelle coaches from experience, not theory, pairing a record-setting sales career and firsthand entrepreneurship with a genuine belief in what her clients are capable of.
I have always been an entrepreneur and a salesperson first and a business coach second. As a result, I think my coaching is not based on theory, but built on experience. Throughout my career, I have actually done the work, rather than just teaching it.
I started by selling door-to-door, where I learned resilience, how to connect with people, how to work hard and overcome rejection. From there I founded and grew an executive search recruiting firm, helping companies identify and hire top talent while building long-term business relationships.
I later started my own business, gaining firsthand experience in sales, leadership, business development, marketing, and scaling a company. Those experiences gave me the practical foundation I now use to coach my business owners and sales professionals to grow their own businesses, increase revenue, and lead with confidence.
There are several principles I draw on every day when coaching my clients: sales, time management, authenticity, perseverance, and resilience, just to name a few. The biggest lesson, however, centers around people. Selling door-to-door taught me to not fear rejection, to listen more than I talk, and to build trust quickly. In my own executive search firm, I learned to identify talent, ask great questions, and understand what makes people and organizations successful. Growing my own business taught me what it really takes to lead, manage cash flow, build systems, market a business, and navigate uncertainty.
Every stage of my career taught me that growth happens on the other side of discomfort, so today, when I coach, I help my clients think bigger and push past that discomfort, in addition to developing a sales mindset, building relationships, and creating strategies that produce results. More than anything I help them believe in themselves and grow in confidence.
I was the Top Rookie Producer, ranked #1 out of 3,000 college students selling books door-to-door, and went on to become the Top Experienced Producer four years in a row. I broke the company record for most books and products sold, and received both a President’s Club sales award and Gold Seal/Gold award sales honors.
I believe exceptional coaching should do much more than help someone make more money. I want to help them change the way they think. When someone’s mindset changes, their decisions change, their business and their life begins to change.
My goal is to help people see opportunities they could not see before, think BIGGER than they allowed themselves to think, and give them the confidence and strategy to take action. I want them to leave every coaching session with more clarity, more courage, and a clear plan for their career.
Knowing I have helped someone unlock potential they already had, and see it ripple into their family, their employees, and their community, that is really rewarding. It is seeing them land clients they never thought they could attract, build stronger teams, create healthy boundaries, and love their job again. I firmly believe that a great coach doesn’t create someone else’s success. They help people discover the greatness that is already within them and give them the tools and accountability to bring it to life.
I think what sets me apart is that I don’t coach from a textbook; I coach from experience. I’ve experienced both personal successes and setbacks. So when my clients bring me a particular challenge, I’m not just giving them a “theory,” I’ve probably lived something similar. I’m also not interested in giving people a quick fix.
My goal is to help them think differently. I ask questions that stretch them, challenge limiting beliefs, and help them see opportunities they may be missing. Sometimes people don’t need another strategy; they need someone who believes in them enough to challenge them to think bigger.
I also care deeply about the whole person. We all know a successful business isn’t much of a victory if your relationships, health, or peace of mind are falling apart. I want my clients to build businesses that support the life they want to live, not consume it. The feedback I hear most often is that I bring clarity and help them have vision for their life. I also think they know I genuinely care. I’m invested in their success, and they know that I’m there in their corner.
I chose coaching because I realized the greatest satisfaction in my career wasn’t closing a sale or building a business; it was helping other people discover what they were capable of. After years of building businesses and leading teams, I found myself naturally mentoring people. I loved watching someone go from doubting themselves to believing they could achieve something they never thought possible.
Coaching allows me to combine everything I’ve learned throughout my career, sales, entrepreneurship, leadership, and business strategy, with what I care about most: helping people reach their God-given potential. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone grow into the leader they were meant to be.
When somebody lands a major client, doubles their income, or reaches a financial goal, that’s exciting, but what’s even more meaningful is when they become more confident, make better decisions, and stop letting fear drive their choices. That’s when I know the transformation is going to last. Seeing someone believe in themselves again, that’s what makes this work so meaningful.
Every client has a different story, different challenges, and different dreams. Being trusted to walk alongside them is a privilege I never take for granted. If I can help someone believe bigger, lead better, and create a business that blesses their family and others, then I’ve done exactly what I was called to do.
