behind the coaching.
Jackie pairs decades of corporate training and entrepreneurial success with a coaching style grounded in faith, steadiness, and genuine belief in what her clients can accomplish.
I’ve been coaching for more than 30 years, five of which have been with Southwestern Consulting. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to coach hundreds of individuals, some one-on-one, and others in larger groups. As an entrepreneur building a team of over 150, I was able to coach others to take the same steps and maintain a business, same as I had done.
I began my coaching and training career in corporate America, being an in-house trainer as well as project analyst for large conversion projects in the financial data processing field. I was often chosen to help teams that were struggling to find real solutions to move forward and complete the projects successfully. I coached and trained teams to understand new products and procedures that were constantly being implemented in the ever-changing technologies of that field.
First and foremost, how important it is to know your value and worth and where that comes from; this is the key foundation. My faith is an important part of what I do, and as I look back over the last 30 years, my eyes have been opened so much to the fact that we all struggle with limiting beliefs of some sort at some time, no matter what field we work in or occupation we chose. This leads to the true need for transformational thinking and belief in ourselves and what we can accomplish.
I was promoted to business analyst and corporate trainer for a large nationwide company, which began my passion for teaching and mentoring others. I went on to build a direct sales business and achieve senior leadership, landing in the top 1% of the company, and received the Servant Heart Award for my organization.
I was also named Woman of the Year for my region with the American Business Women’s Association, nominated for “National Top Ten Business Women” two years in a row with ABWA, served as Ambassador of the Year for the Ascension Parish Chamber of Commerce, and was crowned Duchess of Club Service with Rotary of East Ascension.
I believe that exceptional coaching turns potential into reality by creating a deep sense of self-awareness and a strong vision, outlining short term goals to reach that vision, and helping individuals realize their purpose that is bigger than a paycheck.
A mindset of gratitude and “abundance” and intentionally guarding your self-talk is also an important part of personal and professional growth.
I believe my greatest strength is my strong faith, which influences how I listen, speak, and support my clients. I bring a steadiness, empathy and wisdom to my coaching that was learned through navigating real-life challenges.
A blend of corporate experience, entrepreneurial success, and leadership development has brought me to a place where my coaching is heartfelt, grounded, and practical, helping clients align with who they are and who they want to become.
My deep desire to help others believe in themselves and what they can accomplish is what motivates me every day. I love helping them create a strong foundation to stand on, as well as the courage and confidence to move forward to the dream one step at a time as we navigate the journey together! It’s a constant reminder of how these things continue to influence my own life, and what a blessing it is to come alongside someone through coaching.
