Ardavan Beigui

Professional Sales and Leadership Coach Ardavan was born in Iran, grew up in France, and started his career in the United States. After high school in the Parisian suburbs, he was admitted to ESCP Europe in Paris, ranked in France’s top three business schools.

As a student there, Ardavan relocated to America in the summer to participate in Southwestern Advantage’s summer sales program and sold books door-to-door for a total of eight summers, going from humble beginnings (under $10K in personal sales) to top 1% companywide among 3,000 (with $100K in personal sales), while leading top teams (top 1% companywide). He was also the recipient of the “Wall of Greats” award several times as one of the company’s top recruiters and won Sales Manager of the Year in the process.

Back in France, he reinvented himself as a digital marketing executive, leading first a sales team, then a whole company with revenues over $5M. He later cofounded a startup in the field of predictive marketing, which grew from 0 to $10M in revenue by 2020, with offices in Paris and New-York City, where he relocated between 2017 and 2020. It was later acquired in the mid-eight figures by a larger local player in France.

In 2022, he decided to take on a new challenge when he accepted the role of CEO at a small start-up that was facing strong headwinds and needed a fresh start. After two years working on repositioning the company, he was ready to write the next chapter of his life!

Whatever fancy titles he may have held, Ardavan eagerly admits he’s been mostly involved in sales throughout his career, whether in the U.S. going door-to-door, selling marketing services to global brands, or later shifting to selling technology in complex sales cycles with annual six-figure contracts.

He has hired, trained, and coached hundreds of sales reps & sales managers from various backgrounds, leading them to success (with a few failures along the way, he confesses), and is now enjoying impacting more people through one-on-one coaching with Southwestern Consulting.

Ardavan lives in Paris with his wife, his two children, and their cat Jengi, enjoys running (with a personal marathon record at 3:37 – he believes he can do better!), is an earnest wine amateur, and likes nothing more than wandering through the streets of Paris or cycling around the many bike lanes there to go from place to place.

His favorite piece of personal development literature is by far the poem If, by Rudyard Kipling which, if he’s not too rusty, he may be able to recite if you ask him. His jokes might be terrible and his puns awful, but he likes to think they’ll win you over in the long term!
