To relax and rebalance, Andrew works with several equine-centric nonprofit agencies, helping horses directly with hands-on therapies, as well as fundraising and filling in wherever needed to keep the organizations moving ahead. He serves on the board of the Minnesota Saddlebred Horse Association and Twin City Polo Classic committee; he is a player on the Twin City Polo Club team and is instrumental in the Polo School program introducing new riders to the sport of polo.

Andrew has also been a yoga and meditation instructor, and he uses those skills to coach his equestrian clients in how to stay connected to their horses as well as how to better understand their own thoughts and behaviors. Those same skills inform his coaching clients and allow for an often unique and more impactful and relatable connection.

Andrew spent several years after high school touring with bands like The Beach Boys, Night Ranger, The Commodores, Heart, Willie Nelson, Frank Sinatra, Prince, and many others. Don’t ask him to sing the songs he helped bring to life on the stage, but he’ll be happy to tell you about some of the stories from those days. You won’t be sorry you did!
