
About Tony
As a professional Sales and Leadership Coach for Southwestern Consulting, Tony specializes in helping his clients discover untapped potential and reach their goals in life. A true practitioner first and foremost, Tony grew up in sales. He gained five years of experience selling and recruiting for Southwestern Advantage while in school at the University of Michigan and while earning his MBA from Syracuse University.
After college, Tony was accepted into the Toyota management training program and subsequently served as a district manager in Boston. He then began a long and successful career as a top producer with Athlon Sports Communications, where he retired as Partner/VP of Sales. Some of his career highlights include:
- #1 sales producer with Athlon Sports
- Creating and selling the first corporate brand B2C digital game in sports—Pepsi Fantasy Racing—which achieved four straight years of traffic records for Pepsi and exceeded 10 million page views per season
- The craziest promotion he sold was cutting a team bus in half (lengthwise) at Super Bowl XXXIII.
Tony established many industry firsts working with top brands in corporate America selling to senior-level marketing and sales executives. A real industry pro at B2B selling, setting appointments, and renewing business, he has sold millions of dollars of media and led clients to digital transformation through consumer interactions around sports. During his tenure, Athlon Sports’ revenue grew 1,000%.
Tony has checked many items off his bucket list, but his family and faith are his two best achievements. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife, two children, and their rescue dog, Sadie.
