Meet Jen
Jen Fulton is a dedicated and detail-oriented Professional Sales and Leadership Coach with a robust management, sales, and entrepreneurship background. With a sales career that spans over three decades, Jen has consistently demonstrated her ability to excel in various roles, showcasing her versatility and commitment to excellence. Her diverse experience and passion for helping others make her an outstanding coach at Southwestern Consulting.
Jen’s professional journey began as an inside sales and customer service representative. She quickly established herself in the business world, taking on the role of account executive at Clear Channel Radio (now iHeart Media). During her tenure from April 1998 to November 2011, Jen honed her sales and marketing skills. She performed market analysis, developed marketing plans, and maintained exceptional customer service standards. Her ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines was exemplified by her success in increasing account profitability and winning multiple monthly sales contests. Jen’s innovative approach was highlighted by her development of advertising campaigns and revenue generating promotions.
In 2008, Jen embarked on an entrepreneurial venture, founding Jen’s Buggy Whip Cakery. For 14 years, she managed all aspects of the business, from customer service and inventory management to marketing and financial performance. Her strategic campaigns and promotions drove new and repeat business, establishing her cakery as a local favorite. Jen’s ability to identify potential areas for expansion and improvement ensured her business’s sustained growth and success.
Parallel to her role at the cakery, Jen created and published “This is Findlay Magazine” between 2010 and 2015. As publisher and creator, she managed a team of writers, photographers, and sales personnel, overseeing the entire production process from layout and design to budget management. Notably, she published Findlay’s Bicentennial program, adding a significant achievement to her portfolio.
Most recently, Jen served as a Sales Assistant and Sales Consultant at Taylor KIA of Findlay. In this role, she leveraged her product knowledge and customer service skills to build strong client relationships, manage social media, and support sales strategies. Her ability to provide excellent customer service and accurately manage customer data further underscored her sales and client relations proficiency.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jen is deeply committed to her community. She volunteers as a mentor with Welcome to a New Life, supporting individuals in recovery by providing guidance and friendship. Her volunteer work with Bridges Out of Poverty involved coaching and counseling mentees to achieve self-reliance.
Originally from northwest Ohio, Jen continues to reside there, enjoying a fulfilling personal life in Findlay. In her leisure time, she enjoys visiting art galleries, hiking with her husband, and fostering meaningful relationships with her friends. Her dedication to her professional and personal pursuits is guided by her belief in the importance of support, education, and community engagement.
