The car, the dream job, the perfect partner, or the dream vacation are far away when you’re living In a state of survival, worrying about a past that is left behind or a future that may never happen. To achieve success, one must exit the state of survival. Become present and available in the here and now. When you leave the state of survival, you can see your life with clarity and possibilities and operate from a state of flow.
Not everyone needs to go to college, but everyone needs an education.
The Latino community is the fastest-growing population in the US. The US Census estimated 60.1 Hispanics as of 2020. It is projected to grow to over 110 million by 2060, making one in four citizens Hispanic. Latinos open more businesses and pursue higher education faster than any other race. However, Latinos do not come from a pedigree of educated ancestors, making education vital to break the cycles of dysfunction, poverty, and illiteracy.
“I’m not enough.”
Fear, insecurity, and the impost syndrome are adopted symptoms and conditions. We have adopted these conditions form our parents and social conditioning. Many people with imposter syndrome grew up in families that stressed achievement and success. If your parents went back and forth between overpraise and criticism, you might be more likely to have feelings of being a fraud later in life. Learn to break the cycle of pushing through and doing the work.
