Design stylists at a Fortune 500 textile company

I’ve been a professional coach for more than a decade now. Prior to that, I worked for everything from a Fortune 500 company to a startup. Between entrepreneurship, sales, leadership, and business development, I gained firsthand experience in the challenges of building both people and organizations, which ultimately led me into coaching.

My career has been anything but linear. While attending Cleveland Institute of Art, I was recruited to sell books door-to-door with Southwestern Advantage. What started as a summer opportunity turned into a six-year journey that taught me invaluable lessons in sales, leadership, resilience, and personal growth. After moving to New York City, I worked for more than a decade as a textile designer and print stylist with a prominent company. Later, I had the opportunity to help my husband build a computer business. Looking back, every step of that unconventional path prepared me for what I do today: helping individuals grow and achieve results they didn’t think were possible.

Life isn’t always easy, but I’ve always believed that if we put together a plan and take action on it, we eventually get to where we want to be. That’s a motto I live by, and a belief I carry to work with me every day with my coaching clients.

I was the number one salesperson at Southwestern Advantage, and one of only three design stylists at a Fortune 500 textile company. After that, my husband asked me to step in to manage his start-up computer business, which grew from nothing to more than $5 million dollars in annual revenue. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of what it takes to drive growth, lead teams, and navigate rapid change — lessons I now draw on every day as a coach.

I’ve seen the transformational power of coaching firsthand. My clients often achieve things like building a thriving business, overcoming limiting beliefs, and/or experiencing profound transformation as they move into the next stage of life… whatever that looks like for them. It makes me proud to come alongside them in their journey.

My secret sauce is my ability to listen objectively and offer creative reframing that sparks real self-reflection. That reflection ultimately leads to momentum, growth, and breakthroughs that help my clients move forward in a powerful way. The combination of deep listening and innovative perspective-shifting is what truly sets my coaching apart.

Seeing my clients’ breakthroughs, whether in their personal growth or professional success, is why I’m so passionate about coaching. It’s those moments of lasting change that make me say, “Yes, this is exactly what I’m meant to do!”
