Meet Dietrich
As a professional Sales and Leadership Coach for Southwestern Consulting, Dietrich is an experienced entrepreneur, salesperson, manager, and motivational speaker with a passion for building businesses and people. Dietrich has a unique perspective on business in the United States, South America, and Europe, having worked in the public and private sectors. He also owns his own business and has experience in a variety of industries, including multi-level marketing/direct sales, mortgage, real estate, audits, law, construction, fundraising, education, government, entertainment, and financial services.
Dietrich graduated from Indiana University with his master’s degree in public and nonprofit management. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Kelley School of Business in Marketing, Management, and International studies.
In college, Dietrich began his sales career as a top producer and recruiter at Southwestern Advantage, where he sold educational books door to door 80 hours a week. Some of his key sales accomplishments include:
- Recruiting, training, and leading commission-based sales teams for more than 20 years
- Being a Top 10% recruiter at Southwestern Advantage in his first year of recruiting
- Achieving Top First-Year Salesperson, ranking in the Top 5% off all first-year SWA salespeople
Dietrich is first and foremost a communicator and has had the good fortune of being able to communicate in five languages. He enjoys meeting new people, creating genuine rapport, and building lasting relationships—both within an organization and with clients around the world. He is an appointed Guardian Ad Litem for children and has worked with senior citizens suffering from Parkinson’s.
In his spare time, Dietrich loves to dance and has served as a salsa instructor. He is a tenor and soloist and has also performed opera and on Broadway. In addition, Dietrich has travelled to more than 200 cities worldwide, reaching lifetime gold member status with American Airlines (over 1 million miles traveled).

I began working with Dietrich at a low point in my business, emotional and spiritual life. He has guided and inspired me to improve in so many areas of my life. He understands that a person cannot experience significant changes in their business unless there is health and balance in all significant areas of life.
He helped me understand myself and what motivates specific behaviors. He is teaching me how to face life-long fears that have held me back and walk through them, instead of staying stuck in them. I have learned that feeling uncomfortable is necessary and failure is a normal occurrence when learning something new.
He was patient with me when I had to learn lessons in real time and did not give up on me when I wanted to give up.
He taught me how to change my self-talk. I am becoming a better person at both work and home. I am getting back in touch with my authentic self.
He has helped walk me through finding a company to work for that matches my values and motivates me.
Of course, we have worked on the activities that need to occur to have a successful business. The numbers at work have been just as outstanding as my personal growth. I have doubled my income in the first 12 months of working with him. He is helping me build my business to be a sustainable income producing venture.
It has not been the easiest, but it has been one of the most rewarding adventures.
