behind the coaching.
Andy pairs over two decades as an entrepreneur and top producer with a coaching style built on patient listening, systems, and accountability.
I have been coaching for over 10 years with an emphasis in the real estate industry. I have coached 3,000 plus business owners, team leaders, and sales professionals, and through the years, I have discovered that nearly 90% of my clients hit their annual goals through coaching.
Prior to becoming a Southwestern Consulting coach, I began my journey as an entrepreneur over 20 years ago, running an investment company. I have won numerous sales awards in various industries and have ranked in the Top 5% of realtors in the Cincinnati market.
This led to an opportunity as a branch manager, where I became a top-producing recruiter and coach for a national service company. Those positions led me to full-time employment as a corporate trainer and coach. There I discovered that I really enjoyed helping business owners and salespeople reach their full potential.
business owner and salesperson. For example, consistent actions will create consistent results. I can remember times when my performance was very consistent and how that brought me to the result that I wanted.
I also learned about how to overcome the fear of rejection. After years of selling and coaching salespeople, I have logged thousands of stories, scripts, and systems to help overcome these and many other challenges that can get in the way of success.
As a coach I think that one of my biggest wins is my retention of my clients. I view all of my relationships as long term and don’t expect the relationship to end because of business circumstances. The biggest driver behind that is that nearly 90% of my clients hit their goals every year.
Exceptional coaching should give the client the tools to handle challenges in life not only in business. When clients work with me, they often say things like, “When we started working on delegation of tasks in my business, I never thought that I would be applying that same strategy to my personal life. When I did it changed everything at home and at work!” For me that is a real win when I feel like I am making an impact on their life, not just their business!
As a coach, I am a very patient listener. I believe that if I ask the right questions, I will find the information that I need to help the client make the necessary changes. After listening and talking through the situation, I will collaboratively help the client build a system to help change the current situation. From there, it usually becomes an interaction to test and measure results. Then accountability becomes the focus to get lasting results!
Throughout my career, I have found that what I enjoy most is problem solving. Coaching gives me the greatest platform to do just that. I get to spend my time helping clients overcome obstacles in business and life to reach their full potential!
As an example, my most proud and gratifying moments in my career have been when I have helped clients navigate career changes. Helping someone that sees uncertainty and instability in the future navigate through that to achieve new heights, both professionally and personally, makes the work worth doing!
