Professional Sales and Leadership Coach Timo has almost 20 years of experience in the software industry, both in sales and project management. He’s been particularly involved in the customer interface, focused on both logistics and the energy industry.

As a coach, Timo makes use of his versatile experience in management, which he has accumulated from several years of service in the army at the military rank of lieutenant, and from the ice hockey rink as a referee for seven years, including three years at the second highest level in Finland.

Timo has an abundance of coaching experience from the sports side, and he works as the head coach of the Finnish national mountain bike orienteering team and as a personal coach of two athletes. Timo found his coaching passion in sports and uses his coaching know-how to be useful in navigating the challenges of business life.

Timo’s calm and quiet presence coupled with his innate ability to listen and understand situations allows Timo to challenge his clients to consider circumstances from different perspectives. His clients always come first and will probably hear the phrase “Coaches are for the clients, not vice versa,” quite often.

Timo believes that challenges and obstacles are made to be overcome, not necessarily with a quick solution, but when you have the patience to follow his instructions, you will find new features of yourself to reach your full potential. Timo does not have a ready-made answer to each question, but rather he challenges his clients to think and find the solutions for themselves.

Trust, honesty, and loyalty are the basic values that Timo has adhered to both in his working life and in his hobbies. He enjoys coaching in his free time, as well as recharging himself with long runs in the forest and mountain biking and skiing in the winter.
