Meet Tim
With over 20 years of sales, marketing, and leadership experience, Tim’s commitment to success led him to Southwestern Consulting. His track record in marketing, eCommerce, and online sales speaks for itself; he has grown online sales at multiple companies by over 2,000%. He grew an Amazon sales channel from $250,000 to over $6,000,000 in sales in just three years. He holds certifications in customer acquisition, customer value optimization, eCommerce marketing, and project management.
Tim’s competitive drive compels him to think bigger and push harder to deliver winning strategies. His teams have worked with some of the largest and most competitive retail sales channels, including Amazon, Walmart, and eBay as well as retailers like Target, CVS, Walgreens, and Kroger. He thrives on ensuring that his teams and strategies are always ahead of the curve.
He earned an undergraduate degree from Northwest Missouri State University in mass communications with an emphasis on broadcasting. Then he earned an MBA from Baker University focusing on strategic planning. Tim led his team to win the Factory Project final by achieving the largest growth and highest margin.
In coaching, Tim values the process and building relationships. He knows we can’t do it alone. Tim empowers his clients to build up their weaknesses and enhance their strengths. He will often ask his clients, “Begin with the end in mind,” to recognize what the goal is, then help them achieve it.
Tim resides in the Kansas City area with his wife. He is an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks fan. When he’s not rooting for his teams, you might find him wake surfing, mountain biking, building trails, exercising, or playing with his dog, Jens.
He is also a health and fitness enthusiast and has workouts built into his ideal schedule. He has biked over 200 miles on gravel in one day and competed in multiple 50+ mile mountain bike races. He once competed in the amateur USA mountain bike national championship race in the single speed category. Tim recently cofounded a YouTube series to help aging athletes stay active by highlighting training, recovery, and mobility techniques.
Outside of work and fitness, Tim enjoys camping, traveling, boating, collecting whiskey and cigars, and spending time with friends and family. He believes in a harmonious work life balance to be the best you can be. Most of all, Tim enjoys having fun!
