Meet Ryan
Professional Sales and Leadership Coach Ryan Masell knows what it’s like to convert professional risk into profit. Throughout his fast-paced career, he has launched three businesses – each building on the last.
After studying music entrepreneurship with supplemental classes in business administration, Ryan started a marketing company to help small business owners plan impactful communications. After being absorbed into a client’s business, Ryan pivoted toward customer relations and strategic partnerships. During this time, he prospected new clients, grew his book of business, and negotiated lucrative partnerships for an independent financial services firm. Ryan was directly responsible for selling more than $175M in finance products, driving an additional $3M to the company’s bottom line.
Ryan started consulting after strategic partners inquired why their employees spent more time on Ryan’s projects despite having higher-paying opportunities in the pipeline. In addition to leadership coaching, Ryan has improved income-producing communications in the auto manufacturing, legal, IT, construction, finance, and food/ beverage industries.
To challenge himself professionally, Ryan left financial services to launch an independent sales organization in the food and beverage space. Despite having to prospect a new clientele base, he closed over $1.4M in beverage products to independent stores and corporate accounts via direct sales during his first eight months.
While championing high performance across diverse sales contexts, Ryan assembled and led teams across multiple organizations under the mentorship of C-suite leaders and career executives, and he is formally coached in talent development by Olympic coaches across the USA, Germany, and Spain.
Ryan enjoys supporting business owners, entrepreneurs, and salespeople in crushing their numbers so they can live the balanced lives they envision. Outside of the office, you can find Ryan at the golf course, archery range, or studying.
