Roger Hurd has built his career in sales and sales leadership earning top awards over the years. While earning his bachelor’s in economics and MBA in marketing and finance at Cornell University, Roger started his sales and sales leadership career for four summers with Southwestern Advantage, earning high recognition for his work.
Roger then focused on the hardware and software technology industries, earning honors for sales, sales operations, and leadership. He became proficient selling to high tech, CPG, pharma and life sciences, and many more. Roger has also coached teams selling to a wide variety of industries.
As global sales operations director for Thomson Reuters, Roger re-trained the sales force and re-designed comp plans to help lead the business from loss to profitability. During his time at Brainshark, he also led each person on his team to reach President’s Club.
Roger was recognized at one company as the employee with the highest number of President’s Club trips, and he held the record for the greatest number of enterprise and corporate clients throughout North America. More recently, Roger focused on HR Services to help organizations manage culture and drive retention through global and strategic recognition solutions.

Roger splits his time between Nashville, where his two sons reside with their families, and New England, where his daughter visits often from NYC. He loves music and the theater and has directed several local community theater shows including Oklahoma!, It’s a Wonderful Life, Shrek the Musical, and The Philadelphia Story. He is also President of the Souhegan Chorus in southern New Hampshire.
