About Karla
As a professional Sales and Leadership Coach for Southwestern Consulting, Karla has a 30+ year sales record of being a top producer. She is most interested in helping people who want to take their lives and careers to the next level and become the most MARVELous versions of themselves! Her clients have enjoyed increased income, better quality of life, and improved leadership skills because of her coaching.
Karla is an entrepreneur and a leader at her core. She has specific experience as a sales executive, leader, and trainer. She is a former lead sales executive who was responsible for 80% of an ISP company’s entire annual revenue.
She led her own companies to success, as well as counseled other businesses to improve in areas such as business development and sales, marketing, event production, customer service training, image, and branding. She has worked with business leaders to improve their leadership through better communication, better questions, working to create their own individual “Vision-Purpose-Mission” statements and then a company creed. Currently she is the only person at Southwestern Consulting to have earned the title of “Coach of the Year” twice.
Karla currently lives in rural northwest Ohio and spends a significant amount of time in Middle Tennessee. Together with her adventure-loving husband Brad, they have a grain farm operation in Ohio. Karla and Brad have found success as parents to two grown sons and two amazing daughters-in-law and grandparents to five incredible grandchildren. Karla enjoys traveling and taking one of their five old show cars with them on their adventures.


Since beginning coaching, I have doubled my income and tripled the number of people on my team and the team production has tripled as well. In addition, due to improved time management skills I have been able to spend more quality time with my family at home and am teaching the leaders on my team how to build a schedule that is the foundation for business success….My leadership skills have improved, as I am now working on ways to help my team see their own vision and I am able to effectively hold them accountable to doing the tasks they commit to doing, finding quicker success in our business. So far in my time in coaching I have found the most value in focusing on time management, personal accountability, confidence, leadership development, goal setting and creating the right habits. More specifically, I am learning how to protect time for income-producing activities and that sticking to a schedule leads to improved effectiveness. This coaching program has helped me not only identify the tasks I need to do to accomplish my goals, but has given me a new mindset around keeping myself accountable. I have more confidence in my leadership skills, selling, and setting boundaries. I am setting and reaching personal goals now that I have walked through how to break down my big goals into small daily habits.
