While attending LSU, Shay spent six summers with Southwestern Advantage, where he made over 18,000 cold calls and achieved top sales rankings year after year. He was recognized as a Top 10 American Dealer, having generated over $25,000 in a week and more than $8,200 in a single day multiple times.
Shay also excelled as a leader, building and mentoring high-performing teams of 15–20 college students who collectively generated over $300,000 in revenue within just three months. His ability to inspire and develop young professionals highlights his talent for cultivating future sales leaders.
Shay served six years as an Intelligence Analyst in the Louisiana Army National Guard, earning a top-secret clearance and the prestigious German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge.
