Toms Jančevskis is a professional Sales and Leadership coach with Southwestern Consulting. Some of his key accomplishments include:
- 10+ years of experience in sales, sales management, recruitment, and management
- Selecting, training, and leading 100% commission-based sales teams for eight years
- A Platinum Certificate in sales (highest level of recognition in sales)
- Member of the Presidents’ Club (represents the top 1% of the company’s 250,000 employees in Southwestern’s history)
- Two bachelor’s degrees – one in Jurisprudence and the other in Film Production, and a master’s degree in Management Psychology and Supervision.
While studying as a full-time college student in Latvia, Toms spent his summers in the United States knocking on doors and selling educational books and software.
Each summer, on average, Toms worked 80 hours a week for 12 weeks in a row. He has knocked on 20,000+ doors, built several teams, led organizations, and finished as a top producer out of 2,000+ salespeople.
Toms also worked in the IT security field as a sales manager for several years. These experiences allowed him to cultivate key sales principles and discover his passion for helping people reach their personal and professional goals.
In his free time, Toms likes to unwind with his amazing wife and son. Toms is a drummer who enjoys listening to 70s and 80s rock music, reading, playing chess, and hanging out with his friends.
First of all, I am better with my time management, and I get more things done. Thanks to SW Consulting’s time management systems, I save at least 30 minutes every day. And without my coach Toms, I would never have implemented a CRM system in my company. Now I can see my team’s actual work, which helps me understand how I can help them better. Also, my team is more organized, which helps to close more deals.
Working together with Toms has been eye-opening. I’m focusing more on my income-producing activities, and also planning my things has a considerable effect; I have become more proactive. I have started to wake up at the right time, and it was a huge issue before.
When approaching customers, I have less rejection, and people are more eager to talk to me; I have managed new techniques to better speak with clients the way they want to be talked to. The customers trust me more, and they are willing to make the first orders. Thanks to Toms, I have managed to get new clients with just a couple of phone calls and emails.
From the very beginning, I felt the need for a push/motivation and guidance, so I was happy to find someone who could help me with it and at the same time keep me accountable that I would do my best. Looking back over the past year, I can say that the SW Consulting 1:1 sales training was very valuable to me. The main advantage of this training is that theory goes hand in hand with practice – it provides a basis for ideas and creates an atmosphere for this knowledge to be applied.
