Meet Jamie Hamer
Jamie is a professional Sales and Leadership Coach with Southwestern Consulting with a diverse and impactful career, including 14 years in sales, entrepreneurship, and commercial strategy.
Some career highlights include:
- Being the #1 first-time European salesperson (out of ~800) as an independent contractor with Southwestern Advantage.
- Spending five years at industry giant Proctor & Gamble and being nominated for the “Spirit of CBD” – the top sales award in the UK organization.
- Running sales, commercial strategy, operations, and finance for React News, which grew into a business with £2m in revenue as Europe’s best-read paid real estate news service.
- Becoming an accomplished public speaker and holding a CFA Charter, which involved a grueling study schedule of more than 1,000 hours to obtain.
Jamie began his sales career selling educational books door-to-door as an independent contractor with Southwestern Advantage, the oldest direct-selling company in America, for two summers. In his second summer, he recruited a team of five, increased his business value by 90%, and was the top second-year salesperson in the European organization.
He then continued his career in the corporate setting of Proctor & Gamble, where he won awards for his work on the Aussie, Wella, Duracell, Daz, Oral B, Pampers, and Iams brands. Jamie then worked for two more market-leading organizations – the Acuris Group and Gartner – where he was nominated for the top Account Executive award in both.
Jamie began his entrepreneurial journey by starting a business with three journalists, React News. The business sold to Green Street after just 20 months, and Jamie stayed on to head up European sales, growing the European business to £25m of annual revenue (of which £7m was React News).
Jamie is passionate about working with entrepreneurs and sales leaders to help them achieve their goals in life, and always aims to leverage his unique skills in the service of others.
