Arnold Adriaanse is a sales and leadership veteran, as well as an entrepreneur who has led hundreds of individuals and their teams to success. As a professional Sales and Leadership Coach at Southwestern Consulting, he works with top-producing salespeople and successful leaders from a variety of industries. In a career spanning three decades, Arnold has held national and international senior leadership positions in the software, hardware, professional services, and life sciences industries. He consistently improved revenues in these highly competitive arenas, netting from 30% to 70%. Additionally, Arnold consistently finished as a Top 5% producer at the various companies he worked for.
Arnold’s professional sales experience includes companies such as Oracle Corporation, eGain Communications, Aspect Software, Novell, and ECi Software solutions. In addition to his extensive business experience, Arnold also co-founded a clinical research company. As CEO, Arnold grew this business (recognized by the industry as the “gold standard for clinical research”) to more than $3 million annual revenue.
Arnold firmly believes that creating sustainable sales success and growth lies in helping individuals, managers, and company leaders find their passion and purpose in work and a balanced life. He accomplishes this by introducing successful methodologies and tools to help professionals reach peak performance. He was recognized for “Advancement and Accomplishment” by Gray Davis, Governor of California, and has spoken at the Leadership Series of Eller College of Management (University of Arizona), Aspect Sales Masters Club, and several Oracle Corporation President’s Clubs.
A Dutch native, Arnold is a graduate of Eerde International College in the Netherlands with a degree in Economics. Arnold is fluent in English, Dutch, and German, and conversational in French. He has conducted business on all continents, numerous countries, and many cultures. In addition to being a professional Southwestern Certified Coach, his sales-specific training includes programs such as Target Account Selling, SPIN Selling, Lage Account Management Planning, Account Portfolio Management, and Executive Negotiation Skills.
Arnold is happily married and has three sons. He is a passionate, adrenaline-driven downhill and cross-country mountain biker and enjoys downhill skiing, hiking, and kayaking. His volunteer experiences involve working as a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), emergency services radio dispatcher, and radio operator with the Military Auxiliary Radio System (MARS). He has also held several church leadership positions in the Netherlands and the USA.
