About Stephanie
Stephanie Rivera received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in International Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio. While in High School, Stephanie remained focused on her studies while balancing the responsibilities of coaching a club volleyball team and fulfilling the duties of Head Drum Major for a state band at a 5A school.
While in college, Stephanie served as a small group leader in a faith-based organization called Young Life and continued to serve in her role as a club volleyball coach. In 2016, the summer after her sophomore year, Stephanie remained dedicated to developing young individuals and worked as an Educational Consultant for families across the east coast until 2018.
Stephanie’s current endeavors include supporting students as a Success Coach at a high school in west Texas. Each day, Stephanie aims to guide students to reach their full potential through skill development, goal setting, and accountability. Specifically, Stephanie meets with students in group and 1-to-1 settings to discuss ongoing challenges and assists students in making a game plan. In all of her experience working with young adults, Stephanie has learned growth is more attainable when you have someone to run the race with you
What is Student Coaching?
The Student Coaching program pairs students (ages 13-21) with a highly-trained student coach to hone in on their unique growth areas and equip them with the real-world skills they need to succeed, both inside the classroom and beyond. In addition to 1:1 coaching calls, they work together through training modules, assessments, videos, and more as part of our Student’s Edge curriculum. Parents are kept appraised of progress milestones with frequent progress reports.
