As a professional Sales and Leadership Coach, Ethan has more than 20 years of professional sales experience. He has essentially “grown up” in the principles and philosophies that Southwestern Consulting embodies. Prior to becoming an SWC coach, he was a 4-time President’s Cabinet member at Tom James Company, generating more than $9 million in lifetime sales.
Ethan has experience both working solo and surrounded by a team — and is familiar with the unique challenges and dynamics that teach environment brings. Eighteen months after starting his sales career, Ethan was entrusted to open a market from scratch. Armed with 13 referrals and dogged determination, he built a new market and grew sales to over $500,000 annually. He has been fortunate to work with the same company in five different markets and meet and serve elite businesspeople in each market.
In addition to personal production, Ethan had the privilege and responsibility of building a team of producers. He is proud to have pitched and secured one of the largest corporate gift programs for a nationwide financial services company used in recognition of their top performers.
Today, as an SWC coach, Ethan is most excited to help sales clients employ the same philosophies that have given him the solid foundation on which he built his own career. These philosophies have shaped Ethan’s professional life, but more importantly, they’ve defined who he is today.
Ethan lives just west of Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife Alycia, and their two great kids, Elijah and Sasha. They also have five dogs, a cat, and one Betta fish. Ethan enjoys exercise, kayaking, and home renovation projects—and he is gearing up to restore a classic Jeep! One his favorite quotes is by Zig Ziglar: “You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”
