As a professional Sales and Leadership Coach for Southwestern Consulting, Bob has helped his teams overcome business and personal obstacles. A leader by example, he has found success in the fields of broadcasting, entertainment, technology, and consumer-packaged goods. He also has experience in leadership roles with successful start-up companies and is known for spotting new technology trends—a skill that has enabled his teams to achieve revenue growth and attract new partners.
Prior to becoming an SWC coach, Bob led a New York-based sales team for a start-up, MP3.com, that drove substantial revenue, contributing to the company being purchased for over $350 million. As part of his sales career he personally sold over $75 million in entertainment sponsorships and took a new digital technology application to various major brands, changing how they went to market.
Above all, Bob prides himself on being a people person. Having had quality mentors and coaches throughout his sales career, he regularly uses what he’s learned to help others. Those lessons, when imparted to larger groups, have led to teams under his direction regularly hitting personal and team financial goals.
Bob was raised on Long Island, New York. He lives there today with his wife and their three children. His family’s idea of a perfect day is relaxing on the beach with friends and then returning home to barbecue. Bob also enjoys offshore fishing and playing any sport with a ball involved. Bob and his family all love Otis, their Beagle, even when he howls.
