College

As students grow in their knowledge, they grow in their responsibilities. Our world needs more leaders and a major component of college is teaching the skills students need for success - and to teach leadership as a state of mind, not just a position in life. Our workshops focus on building real-life skills in leadership, goal setting, planning, time management, team-building, and behavior modification. They will learn how to build visual memories that will empower them to be resilient during tough and challenging times. By working closely together in various group activities, students capture the importance of effective communication between fellow students and with faculty, in order to improve dorm management, clubs and organizations, campus programs and other school activities.

You convey a sense of passion and real concern for the people you speak to. You Rock!

Independent Schools

Success within a school community is often dependent on the degree to which adult and student populations work together. Student leadership in dorms, on the athletic field and in co-curricular activities, set the stage for personal and community success.

These programs will inspire students to become better leaders; then help them build the interpersonal skill sets needed to work effectively with others. They will leave with real-life skills in leadership, goal planning and setting, team-building, and behavior modification. They will learn how to build visual memories that will empower them to be resilient during tough and challenging times. By working closely together in group workshops, students learn the importance of effective communication between other students and faculty, in order to improve dorm management, clubs and organizations, campus programs and other school activities.

“Mike was great! I am sure that so many of the things that he said will help me a great deal in the coming year.” - Will, Loomis Chaffee School

This is not your typical “talking head” presentation. Students learn through engaging, fun, and thought provoking activities. The lessons learned are designed to impact your entire school through the building up of student leaders. MORE

High School/Middle School

The research is clear. Students learn leadership, citizenship, and personal management skills through participation in co-curricular activities. But have you ever had a group of students with all of the enthusiasm to succeed but none of the skills needed to get it done?

We assume that students have these leadership skills or are able to develop them independently. This is often not the case. Students need to be taught these skills and how to apply them in leadership situations. I strongly recommend Mike and his leadership workshops.

We focus on three areas that schools indicate are the most crucial: Building school spirit, building class involvement, and getting things done.

It is never too early to teach leadership as a state of mind. MORE
